Kata Focus Class

This month's kata focus class will take place on Saturday, March 27th from 10:00am until 11:30am. Its topic will be The topic will be shihonage, and include aspects such as ukemi, hanmi-handachi, etc. in addition to some general details.

Regarding the kata focus class: On the last Saturday of each month, there will be a focus class to inquire into kata. Specifically, it will involve examination of the purpose and function of certain aspects, as well as making some details clear based on an Aikikai Hombu standpoint. Infrequently seen variations may also be covered.
